Prior to arriving at Groton, Coach 巴纳比 coached college baseball for eight years—five years at Fitchburg State (four as head coach and one as assistant coach) and three years as assistant coach at UMass Lowell.
As head coach at Fitchburg State, Coach 巴纳比 finished with the second most wins in program history and twice was named the league’s coach of the year. 在他的最后一年, the team set ten program records while reaching the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) title game. He helped develop fourteen all-conference players and two all-region players. As MASCAC's chair and co-chair, Coach 巴纳比 was instrumental in implementing a new conference format.
Before Fitchburg State, Coach 巴纳比 was assistant coach for UMass Lowell and head coach in the Futures Collegiate 联盟. During that two-year span, he coached five players who were drafted by Major 联盟 Baseball teams.
Coach 巴纳比 was a four-year starter at Leominster High School in Leominster, Massachusetts. His team earned the #1 overall seed in the state tournament during his sophomore year. He continued playing at Worcester State University, where his team won the 2005 MASCAC championship. After graduation, Mr. 巴纳比 coached three seasons of football and seven seasons of basketball at Leominster High School. He also assisted the Leominster Legion baseball team for six seasons.
With Nor’easters Baseball Academy, Coach 巴纳比 oversees five hundred athletes’ baseball development and has helped more than seventy players reach college baseball programs. He lives in Leominster with his wife, Brittany, and their two children.
